When a gardener cuts down the ivy plants (and leaves the roots in), what will eventually happen?

The remaining branches look like twigs sitting on the yard (next to the house) except the branches remain rooted in the ground. Any suggestions on how to handle this?

I recently hired a gardener to build fences and put down concrete slabs. He built a wooden decking and laid a circle kit.
He has now finished and the garden looks great!
He has asked if he can take a photo of the garden for his flyer, to promote his work, and get more business.

I don’t mind, but should I ask for money or a discount for my permission for him to use my garden as an advert?
Or would that be uncool?

Would a van or a pick up be better for a self-employed gardener (UK)- and what are the advantages of each?
gardener

As far as I can see pick ups tend to have more of an ‘off road’ capability (for mud or farm tracks that I might encounter) and the advantage that anything too big to fit in the load bed can simply be propped up over the cab roof.

A van would be better for keeping any mechanical gear or valuable stuff secure and dry.

What do you think? Thanks!

Will clover kill your flowers if it invades your garden? How do you keep the grass from overtaking the space? Are slugs bad for a flower garden?

The Dude

So this girl invited me to her nutcracker ballet recital and I want to get her flowers for after the show. I kinda like her, but don’t want too be to assertive and such, what kind of flowers should I buy? I was kinda thinking orange/reddish roses, but I think just red seems way too strong. It doesn’t even have to be roses too. Any suggestions? FYI this is highschool. Thanks.

I am just starting to plant my garden. I decided to do a small herb garden. I would like some examples of herbs that are pretty easy to grow and that taste great. I cook alot with oregano, basil, rosemary, and parsley. Have any tips or any other suggestions for a great garden? Thanks.

my friend told me that you can just call him inside for some help or just coffee while wearing a robe with sexy lingerie inside and he will get the idea. or drop the robe ‘accidently’ and he wont be able to resist.

i just want to have sex with him anyways, he’s really hot.

do you think it’ll work? im not that bad myself.
